How to export the GPX from Strava, Garmin, Komoot and other apps
Add at least two places, in order.
A leg with no land route, such as crossing an ocean, is always drawn as a straight line.
This is an example route so you can see how it looks. To make yours, upload your GPX or draw it by stops.
Drag the route to move it and use these controls to zoom it. The wheel or a pinch zooms the whole poster so you can see the detail.
To move the route, drag it on the poster (or use the arrow keys).
This colour barely shows against the background.
Real streets, rivers and coastline from OpenStreetMap.
Write the time as hours:minutes:seconds, for example 3:58:21.
Start and finish come from your stops. Each stop’s date goes next to its name.
A line for whoever receives it. It goes at the foot of the poster, instead of the coordinates.
The stars and constellations you could see at that moment and place, using your time zone.
The time fills in by itself if your GPX has it. With a time, the poster also shows your pace; the Race template makes it the hero.
The total time goes in “Time”. If you uploaded the three GPX files, all of this fills in by itself.
Landscape is available as a PDF for now, with the Atlas, Minimal, Profile, Frame and Story templates.

We read the whole track, with its distance, elevation and coordinates, and lay it out with a cartographer’s eye: understated, faithful and ready to hang.
Upload the GPX of every day and we link them by date into a single route.
The time comes from your GPX. Add your name and the start and finish places.
Move, zoom and rotate the route. The poster you get is the one you see.
Four styles with their layouts, in the background and colour you want: different compositions, not filters.
What people ask us most before ordering their poster.
A GPX, the standard route format. In Strava it’s in the activity, ⋯ menu, “Export GPX”. Garmin Connect, Komoot, COROS, Suunto, Polar and Wikiloc export it too (here’s how in each one). From Polarsteps, its locations.json file works.
Yes. Select all the GPX files at once and we join them into one route, in date order. It’s made for the Camino and multi-day trips.
189 g matte paper printed at 300 dpi, made to order and shipped to Spain. It usually arrives in 5–12 working days.
The PDF downloads as soon as you pay. Print it at your local print shop, at any size.
Yes. In “Text”, write a line of up to 90 characters and it goes at the foot of the poster. If it’s a gift, the gift card can also carry its occasion: birthday, anniversary, Christmas or for a finisher.
Yes. The Medal template leaves a 10 cm space next to your time, designed for a deep frame with the medal hanging in front of the poster.
Yes. The Sky template draws the real stars and constellations for the day, time and place you choose (the night you met, your wedding night…) with your route underneath.
We only use it to draw your poster. We never publish or share it. If your route starts at home, move or zoom it so the start falls outside the frame.
Yes. Designing it is free and needs no account: upload your route, try templates and text, and only pay if you like it.
Yes. The preview and the PDF come from the same drawing engine, with the same fonts and the same map. On paper, colours may vary slightly from your screen.
Yes. Search for the places and we join them by road, on foot, by bike or in a straight line. You can also paste a Google Maps route or start from a ready-made route in our catalogue.
30 × 40 suits a short route or a wall with other pictures. If the route crosses a country or has many stops, go for 50 × 70 or 70 × 100: the names are easier to read. The PDF works at any size.
One code that is valid for 2 or 3 PDF posters. Give it away or keep it for your next routes: it does not expire and you redeem each poster whenever you like.
Yes. With the globe button you choose euros, US dollars, pounds or Canadian dollars, and you are charged in that currency with taxes included. That is also where you change the language.
The PDF arrives by email in any country. Printed posters ship to the countries shown at checkout.
If we make a mistake with the name, time, bib number or route, we remake it or refund you: just tell us within 7 days of receiving it. If you mistyped something on a PDF, we also fix it for free within that time.
Because each poster is made to order it cannot be returned, which is why you see all of it before paying. If a print arrives damaged or faulty, we replace it.
Upload it and see your route drawn in seconds.
Leave your email and we’ll send you the code right away. After that we’ll only write to tell you about new races and routes, at most once a month.
