It leaves Irun, follows the Basque coast through Donostia, Zarautz and Bilbao, continues through Cantabria (Laredo, Santander, Santillana del Mar, Comillas) and Asturias (Llanes, Ribadesella, Gijón, Avilés, Luarca), enters Galicia at Ribadeo, climbs to Mondoñedo and Vilalba and joins the French Way in Arzúa.
